Fog City Notary offers same day service and will travel to your home, place of business, or any other reasonable locale where you wish to have documents notarized. Our service area includes the Bay Area counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma. We offer partial coverage to southern Napa county, and to the Santa Cruz/Los Gatos Mountains. If you're not sure, just ask if you're within our service radius. LOAN PACKAGE RATES:
A complete Single Loan Packet includes notarization of all signatures as well as travel surcharges based on short, medium, or long distance round-trip travel*.

OTHER RATES:
The following package rates are for services that are not loan related. These include one signature notarized per service call. Additional signatures notarized are $10 each These rates also include a travel surcharge based on short, medium, or long distance round-trip travel*.

*Short is classified as being within the San Francisco city limits.
*Medium is classified as 15 to 50 miles round-trip from our San Francisco office.
*Long is classified as 50 to 120 miles round-trip from our San Francisco office.
ADDITIONAL FEES:
After hour Services (before 8am or after 6pm) please add $40
Emergency Services (between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am) please add $60
Weekend Services: please add $40 for Saturday or Sunday service
Holiday Services: please add $60 for major holidays
Emergency Service: for service with less than 4 hours notice please add $50
For us to receive and print e-Docs, email, or fax documents: please add $30
Waiting Surcharge: please add $40 per 1/2 hour at the notary's discretion
California Secretary of State Certification and Courier Service: $250 + State Fees
Note: All notary fees are based on the California statutory code. The state regulated fee for each signature notarized is $10. Travel surcharges are calculated separately from the notary fees and vary based on distance traveled to carry out the notary assignment. Please note that we cannot notarize incomplete documents, or copies of marriage, birth or death records. For an acknowledgment, we cannot notarize documents signed outside of our presence.
